Lauren Kelleher Elected to Board of People Encouraging People – Technologist

Brown, Goldstein & Levy attorney Lauren Kelleher has joined to the Board of Directors of People Encouraging People (PEP), a non-profit community-based organization providing Maryland residents with a range of behavioral and mental healthcare services.

PEP works to provide exemplary rehabilitation and support services to individuals with psychiatric or other disabling conditions. PEP offers services that are highly individualized, community based, and designed to foster a healthy level of interdependence between those individuals and their community. As a member of the Board, Lauren will help provide leadership and guidance to this long-standing community organization.

In addition to serving on the Board, Lauren is also a member of PEP’s CEO Search Committee.

“It is an honor to be elected to People Encouraging People’s Board of Directors,” Lauren said. “Access to mental and behavioral healthcare services is an incredibly important and all too often under-met need.  I look forward to helping this longstanding, committed organization serve our community members here in Baltimore and throughout Maryland so that more individuals suffering from mental health issues can lead full lives.” 

Lauren joined Brown, Goldstein & Levy in February 2022. Since then, Lauren has worked on multiple high impact cases, including one in which she helped obtain a rare win on a motion for the reconsideration and reinstatement of an Americans with Disabilities Act wrongful discharge claim for a client with multiple sclerosis. For 2024, she was named to Best Lawyers in America’s “Ones to Watch” list for her leading civil rights work.
